GEAR UP2018-08-07T17:23:35+00:00

Gearing up for success just got easier.

Many college programs don’t have the funds to purchase materials imperative to proper training.

That’s why the Tree Care Industry Association Foundation (TCIAF) has partnered with STIHL to provide FIVE colleges with $5,000 to be used towards the purchase of new STIHL equipment. Selected schools will be able to customize their package to help strengthen their college’s tree care program!

Colleges with arboriculture, horticulture, urban forestry and other related programs are eligible! Simply complete the online application and tell us how your program or school would benefit from new equipment.

Don’t wait – the application deadline is October 5, 2018.

And the winners are…

Alabama A&M University – Normal, Alabama

Cuyahoga Community College – Highland Hills, Ohio

Mt. San Antonio College – Walnut, California

Southern Maine Community College – South Portland, Maine

Warren Wilson College – Swannanoa, North Carolina

All submissions were evaluated on a variety of criteria, including clear plans for growth and development of the program; diversity in location and student mix; level of detail in the application; and financial need.

Congratulations to the winning schools!
