Since 1990, the New England Chapter, International Society of Arboriculture has awarded scholarships to students pursuing an education in fields of study dedicated to arboriculture, urban forestry, and related fields.
The purpose of the awards is threefold: to help promote interest in shade and ornamental trees, to recognize scholarly endeavors, and to assist in financial aid. Every year, the New England Chapter grants three scholarship awards of $2,500 each.
