TCIA‘s Manager of Workforce Recruitment & Retention, Erin Demers, spoke with arboriculture students at UMass Amherst and the Stockbridge School of Agriculture.
Erin was invited by Kristina Bezanson, lecturer of Principles of Arboriculture and Commercial Arboriculture, to speak to the classes about TCIA. It was great to share TCIA resources, programs, and offerings for members to arboriculture students. The students had thoughtful questions about TCIA, and some have just completed internships at local tree care companies in Massachusetts. Many students explored and were interested in a digital subscription to the TCI Magazine.
It was a fulfilling day and fun to talk to the students about TCIA offerings for members and other resources they can access (OutsideCareers, TCI Magazine, TCIA Podcast, Student Career Day, etc.) for FREE!
