CM Tree Service is a locally owned full-service tree company located in Billings, MT.
We have a crew of 8 including office staff. Over the last 4 years we have grown into one of the most professional and efficient companies in the region because of our constant focus on the future. Both the future of the industry as well as the future of our employees. We know that any company is only great when the employees are valued, appreciated and allowed to grow and advance. That kind of thinking is what drew us to the apprenticeship program for our state. We went to TCIA Expo this year with the goal of finding a streamlined way to grow our newest employees. We wanted to equip them with the tools to become top performers as well as give them the opportunity to grow a career in our industry. Apprenticeship did that and more and we are very excited to see what other opportunities it brings to our company.
CM Tree Service Apprenticeship Program Information:
Our program is a hybrid of competence of skills as well as hours completed in the field. It spans a 3-year period and covers every area of tree care. We have only recently been promoting the program and already have been invited to the career fair for the high schools as well as added to the apprenticeship exploration program at our local college. Our hope is that the apprenticeship programs bring us up to a new level of professionalism and allows us to grow our industry as a whole for the state of Montana.
